Act I
I grew up in Miami Beach, FL, and attended Ransom Everglades High School. From 2002 to 2006 I studied at the University of Florida where I concentrated in Integrative Biology and did research in the Department of Molecular Genetics and Microbiology. I also took up the classical guitar, working with Raymond Lohengrin. In 2007, I moved to Washington, DC to study at Georgetown University, where I earned an MS in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. While at Georgetown, I took an elective called Ethics of Scientific Research. Since then I have been interested in embryo diagnosis. After quickly recognizing the power of bioinformatics, I wanted to learn more about the interface of computer science and biology. This led me to the University of Miami's Center for Computational Science, where I performed data analysis for microarray experiments. From 2009 to 2014 I lived in Beer Sheva, Israel, and studied medicine at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. I graduated in 2014 with the degree of MD. |
The recent past
I lived in Los Angeles, CA from 2014 to 2018. I moved to New York City in the Fall of 2018, where I currently live, and am pursuing a degree in Applied Mathematics at the City University of New York. Status Quo I have an interest in a few fields, and continue to develop my interest in each of them:
